Linear perspective was discovered in the 17th century. One point perspective is when a piece of artwork contains on vanishing point on the horizon line. It works by creating images like the cardboard box shapes we made and connecting all the shapes to one point. This makes an object on paper look three dimensional. I used one point perspective when creating the shapes out of cardboard. By drawing simple shapes then drawing lines jointing to the vanishing point I used one point perspective.
